Privacy Policy

Last updated: draft, not yet published

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Finlumio LLC ("Finlumio," "we," "us," or "our"), a Florida limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Finlumio platform and its digital services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — name, email address, and role (accountant or client portal user) used to authenticate your account.
  • Financial data — invoices, cash balances, profit and loss line items, job and workflow data, and related figures synced nightly from QuickBooks Online and Financial Cents.
  • Documents — files you or your accountant upload to your client group's document library.
  • Usage data — log-in activity and general usage of the Services, used for security and troubleshooting.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Operate and display the Services, including dashboards, reports, and forecasts;
  • Authenticate accounts and enforce access controls so each user sees only the client group(s) and companies they are authorized to view;
  • Provide accounting, tax, and advisory services to you as a client of Green Tax; and
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Services.

We do not sell your personal or financial information.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following third-party processors to operate the Services. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their respective function to us:

  • Supabase — hosts the application, database, authentication, and document storage;
  • QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — source system for accounting and financial data, connected via authorized OAuth access to each client company;
  • Financial Cents — source system for job and workflow data.

QuickBooks Online data is used exclusively to power your dashboards, reports, and the Services described in this Policy — we do not export, sell, or share it with unrelated third parties.

5. Data Security

Access to the Services requires authentication and, for all human users, two-factor authentication. Data access within the Services is governed by row-level security policies that scope every user to only the client group(s) and companies they are authorized to see. Documents are stored privately and made available only through secure, time-limited download links.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and financial data for as long as your engagement with Green Tax continues and as needed to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us, subject to any retention required by law or professional standards.

7. Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Certain financial and tax records may need to be retained regardless of a deletion request in order to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

8. Not Financial, Investment, Legal, or Tax Advice

Information displayed within the Services is provided for reporting purposes and does not itself constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Advice is provided separately by the human accountants and advisors at Green Tax.

9. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other reasonable means before taking effect.
